‌Hairline Stainless Steel Etching
1. Material characteristics and processes
Substrate and surface treatment:

  • The substrate is made of 304 stainless steel (containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel), which forms a uniform linear hair texture (Hairline Finish) through cold rolling process, with a delicate touch and anti fingerprint residue.
  • The surface of hair patterns can be overlaid with chemical or laser etching processes to form geometric patterns, reliefs, or granular textures, enhancing decorative and scratch resistant properties.

Coating and color:

  • Support PVD coating technology to achieve color effects such as titanium gold and rose gold, suitable for high-end decoration needs.

2. Application scenarios
Architecture and Elevator Decoration:

  • Used for decorating the door panels and walls of villas, shopping malls, elevators, and cars. The matte surface with a hairline pattern reduces the intensity of metal reflection and enhances the sense of luxury in the space.
  • Etching patterns can be customized into traditional Chinese patterns or modern abstract lines, suitable for diverse styles such as light luxury and industry.

Home and Industrial Design:

  • Furniture frames (such as coffee tables and cabinet handles) are made of etched stainless steel with hairline patterns, combined with local mirror polishing to create a contrast of light and shadow;
  • Precision industrial components, such as camera mounts, balance wear resistance and aesthetics through lightweight etching processes.

Maintenance suggestion:

  • Regularly wipe with neutral cleaning agent to avoid scratching with hard objects or strong acid corrosion;
  • The colored coating needs to reduce direct ultraviolet radiation, and it is recommended to undergo professional maintenance every 6 months.
