Titanium Gold Hairline Stainless Steel Etching
1. Material characteristics and processes
Substrate and Coating:
- Using 304 stainless steel (containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel) as the substrate, a titanium gold surface is formed through PVD coating technology, which has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for high-frequency contact scenarios.
- The titanium gold tone is achieved by adjusting the proportion of copper and titanium alloy, combining low reflectivity and metallic texture.
Surface treatment:
- Hairline: A uniform linear texture formed through cold rolling process, with a delicate touch and anti fingerprint residue.
- Etching process: Chemical or laser etching is overlaid on the basis of hair patterns, and geometric patterns or relief effects can be customized to enhance scratch resistance and decoration.
2. Application scenarios
Architecture and Elevator Decoration:
- Elevator car and door panel: Titanium gold wire etched stainless steel plate is used for high-end residential and hotel elevators, with mirror or matte areas to enhance spatial hierarchy.
- Wall and ceiling: large-sized etched panels (thickness 0.3~3.0mm) are used in shopping malls and office buildings, suitable for light luxury or modern industrial styles.
Home and Industrial Design:
- Furniture frame: such as coffee tables and cabinet handles, using hairline to reduce metal coldness and hardness, while enhancing artistic quality through local etching;
- Precision components: drone brackets, camera accessories, etc. are made of lightweight titanium etched stainless steel, balancing wear resistance and aesthetics.
3. Processing and maintenance
Processing adaptability:
- Support laser cutting, bending, and welding, with a pre coated PVC protective film on the surface to prevent transportation damage;
- Customizable etching depth (0.05~0.5mm) and texture density, such as fine hairlines or rough geometric patterns.
Maintenance suggestion:
- Regularly wipe with neutral detergent to avoid scratching by hard objects or corrosion of the coating by strong acids;
- It is recommended to undergo professional maintenance every 6 months in areas with strong ultraviolet radiation to prevent the fading of titanium gold color.
