Mirror Stainless Steel Etching
1. Material and process characteristics
- Substrate selection: Made of 304 stainless steel (containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel), in compliance with international standards such as ASTM and AISI, with a thickness range of 0.3~3.0mm, suitable for high-precision etching processing.
- Surface treatment: A mirror like effect is formed through mechanical or electrolytic polishing, with a reflectivity of over 90%, followed by chemical or laser etching. Geometric patterns, brand logos, or embossed textures can be customized.
- Process adaptability: Supports single-sided/double-sided etching, with etching depth of 0.05~0.3mm, edge accuracy error ≤ 0.1mm, and maintains the reflective characteristics of the mirror area.
2. Application scenarios
Elevator decoration:
- Used for high-end residential and hotel elevator door panels and car interior walls, mirror etched stainless steel enhances the luxurious feel of the space, commonly seen in Edunburgh series elevator designs.
- Combining acrylic LED backlight to achieve dynamic light and shadow effects (such as floor signage).
Architecture and Home Furnishings:
- Curtain wall decorative panels and column cladding, with a thickness of 1.0-3.0mm, combining structural strength and artistic appeal;
Maintenance suggestion:
- Regularly use neutral cleaning agents to wipe and avoid corrosive etching areas caused by strong acids and alkalis;
- The mirror area can be maintained with soft cloth and alcohol to reduce fingerprint residue.
