Multi-Layer Structure: Hairline Stainless Steel + Steel Plate Spraying
1. Material structure and process design
Surface material:
- Hairline Finish: Made of 304 stainless steel (thickness 0.3-1.5mm), formed into a straight texture through cold rolling process, with a delicate touch and anti fingerprint properties, suitable for decorative surfaces in direct contact.
- It can be overlaid with etched or PVD coatings (such as titanium gold, rose gold) to enhance the visual effect.
Bottom material:
- Spray coated steel plate: Cold rolled carbon steel (thickness 0.5-3.0mm) is selected, and the surface is electrostatically sprayed (powder/fluorocarbon coating). The color can be customized, balancing cost and weather resistance.
2. Composite process steps
Laminated bonding:
- Use epoxy resin adhesive or hot melt adhesive film to bond the hairline stainless steel with the sprayed steel plate, and control the pressure (5-10MPa) and temperature (120-150 ℃) to enhance the bonding strength;
- The edges are laser welded or bent to avoid the risk of delamination.
Spray coating process:
- The surface of the steel plate needs to be phosphated first to improve adhesion, with a spray thickness of 50-150 μ m, supporting matte, metallic paint or imitation wood grain effects.
3. Application scenarios
Architecture and Elevator Decoration:
- Elevator door panel: The surface is made of brushed stainless steel to enhance the texture, and the bottom layer is coated with steel plate to reduce the overall cost (compared to a fully stainless steel structure, the cost is reduced by 30% to 50%);
- Curtain wall and column wrapping: Composite structure reduces weight (15%~20% lighter than full stainless steel), suitable for high-rise building decoration.
Home and Industrial Design:
- Furniture panels: such as cabinet doors and coffee table countertops, with a surface layer that is scratch resistant and a bottom layer that is coated with steel plates for support;
- Electrical casing: such as refrigerator side panels and air conditioning casings, with a composite structure that balances appearance and corrosion resistance.
Maintenance suggestion:
- Wipe the surface of the stainless steel with a neutral cleaner to avoid scratching with hard objects;
- Regularly check the integrity of the coating on the bottom sprayed steel plate, and repair paint for rust prevention in case of local damage.
